Jeffery Jacobs


Veteran programmer Jeffrey Jacobs, president of New York-based Jacobs Entertainment Inc., brings more than 40 years of experience in marketing and distributing films to The Tull Family Theater. Programmer for 50 screens across the country, including Manor Theatre in Pittsburgh’s Squirrel Hill neighborhood and Bryn Mawr Film Institute in suburban Philadelphia, Jacobs is best known as the founding film buyer for the Angelika Film Center in New York, the country’s highest-grossing art house cinema while under his supervision (1989-1997). His background includes work with the International Film Exchange, including foreign language and documentary Academy-Award winners.
